I've moved into making the background for this project. I'm taking some creative liberties just to have fun, learn, and be creative without worrying too much about how much it makes sense. I feel like the content of this piece is focusing on combining nature with machine, hence the skull and forest vs. the lamp and artificial light. It also makes sense as a functional object that the skull would be used as a lampshade. It can open and close allowing for light to leave or to be trapped inside.
