Here are the two versions of my pattern iterations. I've been finding it difficult to make lots of iterations at once because I feel the need to make each one vastly different and unique so my progress is moving slowly. I really enjoy these versions though. I think they capitalize on expression, beauty, and femininity.

ReplyDeleteI get a very painterly affect from the pattern, its very beautiful and mesmerizing, almost as if I was about to go into this illusion trance.
ReplyDeleteI also want to let you know I was struggling with making quick iterations as well because I would get stuck on one, and next thing I knew an hour would pass by. What sometimes works for me is setting a timer. In a way the panic of time running out makes me work quicker.
To further your process, what if you brought in more the Marylin's body into the image, what if it's just half the face? Some of her clothes?
